Why I don't like the classical manager types

They get hyped up on things, they don't spot things not working or going wrong. I mean, that Google Chrome browser was meant to be for the whole web 2.0 thing, and then you go testing it on Facebook, and half of the functionality over there doesn't work in Chrome...

Try it yourself, clicking on one of the People You May Know at the right column of Facebook doesn't show a pop-up one gets in IE or Firefox...

I mean, the browser is targeted for true web 2.0 applications, and it doesn't even work on Facebook. Yet, the classical manager types would approve to buy something that doesn't work as advertised...

What software do you use on your job, and doesn't work the way it should be working (or requires you to put extra but unneeded effort in your job)?
